Lost flight hours.

Post by (B/229) Razorback on Mon 22 Dec 2014 - 3:39

Hi guys,

I noticed more members do not have their flight hours in their banners anymore. Are flight hours not being clocked anymore or do you use a different method other than the flight hours calculator which xxJohnxx provided for us?

I recently had to clean up my system and do a complete reinstall of Windows 7. Since than I lost the flight hours I already had, making me start all over again. Are flight hours somewhere stored on the server or am I just unlucky in this?

Hi Razorback...Most keep them in there personal journals or wherever you record anything personal. I don't use the "flight Hours" calculator because of the reason you listed. If I have to do a re-install, I lose all displayed flight hours, so I input them into the profile section of this site. As for your lost flight hours, just estimate them and place them in your personal profile on the site as well. Have a look at the information under my profile picture. There is a space for flight hours that you have to manually put into the system. They remain intact if you have a systems malfunction, so I like that method best.
