...as I say, an enjoyable clip but I feel that they have taken some liberties for the benefit of the film with the Huey's near vertical decent over the cliff face.  Would this not cause mast bumping and mast/rotor separation if it was tried for real?  

I have tried something similar in DCS and managed to lose the mast on some occasions... the Huey does not go far with just a tail rotor lel.
