Ist Cav Nam tour 'T' shirt

Post by (B/229) IJammer on Fri 1 Jul 2016 - 3:31

OK, on thinking about this... and with the reservation voiced by dabomb in mind, I have removed the url for this 'T' shirt as I can see now that some might have thought it in bad taste.  Apologies if any one was offended by it.

That's a cool t-shirt, but I'm not a vet. As an American here in the States, I don't think I'd feel very comfortable wearing it.

I see where your coming from Dabomb, and I appreciate your reservations... I am sure that the people that wear them are not disrespecting the vets. The guy's that went and fought the war took a lot of stick from some quarters on what was considered a 'bad' war. I just thought it was a good idea to commemorate the achievements of the guys, especially the Huey crews, that had to go to and do it. Hero's in my book... and I am proud of every one of them. To me... wearing the 'T' shirt, even if it is only in and around the house, commemorates their sacrifice... many, unfortunately, as we know never made it back.
