Well, I Just Could Not Stand It!

Post by (A/229) Comanchero86 on Wed 31 Aug 2016, 22:16

I've was using my Logitech Extreme 3d Pro with this Huey Sim with terrible results. Could not hover. Could not land. So I decided to jump in with both feet.
Newegg had the Thrustmaster Warthog Stick and Throttle on sale for $399. Plus they threw in the Thrustmaster TFRP Pedals for free. Looked like a good deal to me, so I bought it today.

Look for rock steady hovering and close formation from Comanchero86 in the near future. LOL, who am I kidding? Rolling Eyes

But hopefully, this equipment should help.

At full price there is no doubt that you have made the right call. At THAT price you are basically sticking two fingers up at the rest of us....

So just once, I managed to get a good deal. Usually I'm the guy that buys high and sells low. Witness the racing sim gear I will be selling shortly. Ugh.

I'm flying with a 120mm extension, works great for both Choppers and WWII fixed wing. Very Happy

Hi evil,

not to tease you, but it's even cheaper at amazon.co.uk with GBP 278. No pedal included tough, that's thrue, but I dunno if that pedal is really worth it's price, never tried it. Pedal's angle seems a bit weird/uncomfortable for me, I hope I'm wrong of course... Smile
