Integrity Check failure???

Post by (A/229) Toro 6 on Wed 16 May 2018 - 14:18

with all mods deactivated in OVGME I am getting n integrity check failure when trying to get on some servers such as the 104th that have the check on. I had this happen previously. So, when I upgraded to 2.5 I had to do a fresh install and for a while did not install OVGME or the mods. During that time, I had no issues with integrity checks.  However I wanted to be an active member of the 229th so last week I reinstalled OVGME and the 229th required mods. Mods and OVGME work fine as far as getting into the 229th server. However, once again I am getting an integrity check failure when trying to enter servers with the check on. Anyone have this happen to them? Is there a solution?

Thanks for any help

I'm assuming your mods are directed to Saved Games.
Indeed, If you still have the issue with all mods deactivated, you may have an imbedded file.
Try a 'Cleanup" and 'Repair'.

Thanks for the response Chic. tried a repair and that did not work. So, this morning I deleted the mods and OVGME and then reinstalled..seems to have fixed the issue. Hopefully it will not rear its ugly head again. Oh Chic BTW the other night on the Navigation map that 'Six' put up: on my first attempt to do a CSAR I got lost big time..LOL However, next day I made it out and got the pilot back. Did not use NDB...just pilotage. I assume turning off the ability to see yourself on the map is a setting in the mission editor and not a personal setting? Hope he throws it up more often...good training...See you in the air

I also really like the new map. It was an opportune time to make the change IMO.

I only wish there was a way to direct the troops without despawning and accessing one of the observer roles. For instance if they eliminate an enemy force and then just stop in the middle of a forest, there's no opportunity for evac.

I believe Toro was referring to a nav training map that six threw to facilitate a nav review that he ran the other night.
The blind F10 is needed to force feed these exercises.
Going forward however, if the map is strictly for nav training, I think we should keep the threats out. It just wastes time if you get shot down, particularly if your setting up routes with instrument nav aids.
Having the F10 blind for our default training server is a different matter and up for debate.
