Startup checklist in vr

Post by Aeroscout840 on Fri 15 Jun 2018 - 13:13

Hello friends!
My first post is for the vr folks out there. Is there a ay to insert a custom checklist into the knee board window that appears in game? Thanks! Happy to be here and appreciate all the work that went into creating this space.

You certainly can, it is very easy, make an image and pop it into a folder called 'Kneeboard' within Saved Games...here is th e path.....  '......./Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard'

Any image here will show in all aircraft.

Use correctly named sub-folders for kneeboards relative to a specific airframe.... something like this....

Better still install and use KneeboardBuilder an app specially designed to do all sorts of things with kneeboards.  There is a wealth of info in the DCS forums on this.....

Here is there website, the app is free http://www.dcskneeboardbuilder.com/

Hope this helps some...

Nice! This was my only hangup with vr so far. Also, not being able to look under the nvg's to see the cockpit, but oh well. Thanks!

NVG is easily fixed with Tacco's MOD then your instruments are visible as if looking under the NVG as in RL - sort of...

But have a look at this link... http://1stcavdiv.conceptbb.com/t338-read-me-first-joining-the-229th

Then introduce yourself with a post here.. http://1stcavdiv.conceptbb.com/f10-warrant-officer-candidates-apply-here

Then apply to join a Coy in your time zone.... A (Americas) B (Europe) C (Aus) then the full forum site will be available to you with MODS advice and instruction etc...

And yes the 'Recruiting Depot' page could do with some tidying up etc...
